Product Description
The Rowan ADU Plan is a modern one-bedroom, one-bath accessory dwelling unit designed for backyard development, small lots, and urban infill sites. Its compact 21'-11" wide footprint combines comfortable single-level living with a simple building form that is practical to construct and adaptable to a variety of properties.
At the front of the home, the open-concept kitchen and living room create a spacious central gathering area. A large kitchen island provides additional prep space, storage, and seating while maintaining an open connection to the living area.
A dedicated study or home office adds valuable flexible space for working from home, hobbies, reading, or occasional guests. The private bedroom is paired with a generous walk-in closet, while the full bathroom features a large shower and double vanity. A separate laundry room keeps household utilities conveniently organized and out of the main living space.
The exterior is defined by a simple gable roof, vertical siding, recessed entry, and clean contemporary detailing. The result is a restrained modern cottage / modern farmhouse design that works equally well as a backyard ADU, guest house, rental property, downsizing residence, or compact primary home.
